Iv found that on newer LPS toys that "nail polish remover" is no longer strong enough to remove the paint, I now use Pure Acetone to strip ALL baits.
Also the I realize the paintbrush sizes are irrelevant depending on the type and brand you use. My personal preferences are
"Craft smart" by Royal (sizes listed as 1 and 5 in tutorial)
^these are really inexpensive (under $10) but they work great, the bristles are firm but loose enough and soft enough to make a nice even stroke, also iv never had a problem with shedding which is a big annoyance of mine. when they get old there cheap enough that i don't mind replacing them often, but they also age well and become good filler brushes. Lastly they come in a set of either 4 or 5, each brush is a different size with nice tips for larger, great for details.
"simply Simmons" (sizes listed as 5/0 and 0 in tutorial)
^I buy these individually so im rather protective of them, they are about $3-4.00 each so I use them only when i need supper fine details, They are not my most favorite brushes, but they are the smallest and best that I can find in my area, They don't seem to last long either.
Sorry this is kinda big lol, and a full view is a must, or i dont believe you will be able to read it.
anyway i was looking around DA and noticed a lack of LPS related tutorials lol, I made this one while i was working on a commission from Subeta.net of one of there pet species, a graveyard terracoon.
I hope this is helpful and if you spot any errors please comment here and let me know so i can fix them.
